Kathryn Schaller has had a love for horses and riding since the age of five. In high school, her older sister began to get into photography, taking stunning shots from overseas volunteer trips. Wanting to be good at something that her sister was good at spurred her interest. Little did she know that she would find her career path and would never put down that camera. Ever since then, she has been known as “that girl with the camera” wherever she goes.
Currently finishing up her Bachelor’s degree at University of Connecticut, she balances herself between being a student and being where she belongs behind the camera. She plans on going to grad school for an MFA in photography to learn as much as she can about her craft. Until then, she continues to take her equipment with her everywhere, so she can pick up different techniques whenever possible.
